Our History
A Letter from Our Pastor...
Dear Saints at Faith:

I hope and pray that all is well with you and your families.
I am writing this note to begin to introduce myself to y’all.
It has been a wonderful year serving God in this community of Saints at Faith. I thank you for
your warm welcome as well as your willingness to walk together alongside our Lord and Savior,
Jesus the Christ. It has been such a blessing to serve you, God’s people, at Faith for the past few
months. I started preaching and leading services at Faith as pulpit supply in January 2025. I
enjoyed my first encounter with you then and am still enjoying serving this wonderful
congregation.
I have always felt it my calling to point people to the “Author and Perfector of Faith” (Hebrews
12:2). For it is this only Jesus who is ever present in our daily lives.
I know that y’all want to know about me. It is customary for a church leader to introduce
herself/himself to those whom she/he is called to serve. Looking at many of the letters of St Paul,
he usually introduces himself, in detail, to the people he was addressing in his letters. So, it’s
nothing but an honor for me to follow that tradition. My introduction will come in pieces, and in
different attachments, so that you don’t have an extremely full plate at the same time.
I will share with you about my upbringings (briefly) and will also share my resume so that you
can have an idea of what I have been doing in my life both as a layperson/rostered person in the
church. Of course, you are welcome to ask questions to address things not answered by the
information I shared.
Much love and peace to you and your families. May God abundantly bless you today and every
day.
Peace,
Thulisiwe Ndelu Beresford
